Welcome to Plan In Action Web Services. I create websites and provide ongoing support with a personal touch. Let’s talk to see how I can help you.

Work

My clients have various backgrounds and come from different industries that have diverse requirements. Relationships with my clients do not end with the website build. I am here to serve you for the long haul by providing training and ongoing support. Take a look at the websites I’ve created below and the ongoing work I have done to support my clients.

Anita M. Walker is an author of spiritual books and a motivational speaker from the suburbs of Baltimore, MD. She is on a daily spiritual journey with the heavenly Father to spread the gospel according to His will.

Anita was very specific about what she wanted her website to look like from the start of our collaboration. She requested a simple design to represent peace and harmony. The requested features include a section to highlight books, upcoming events, and a photo gallery. Anita’s final request for a blog would allow her to write and share stories of her spiritual journey.

Anthony O. Wells, Ph.D. is licensed to practice clinical psychology in the Commonwealth of Virginia. His practice focuses on individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults in addition to family therapy services.

Dr. Wells requested a minimal design and well-organized website that would highlight his background, services, and medical practice information to potential clients in a professional manner.

Belle & Blaire is an online bath and body company that has been selling products online since 2011.

The owner asked for an e-commerce solution that would allow for flexibility to have unlimited products, blogging features, content control, and customization. After considering hosted solutions, opting for a self-hosted website allows for full ownership and scaling to match the business growth in a cost-effective manner.

Ideal Healthcare Solutions, LLC is redefining the business of healthcare in Maryland by bringing quality health services to your door step.

The owner asked for an informational website for clients and caregivers. In addition, the owner requested a new responsive design mobile capability as well as the ability to process course registration, online payments, and accept online job applications.

Plant a Seed Cards offer faith greeting cards, handmade beaded bracelets, and accessories to plant Christian faith based on scripture Matthew 17:20 into the hearts of people one discussion at a time.

The owner, Brea, requested a new website that would allow for continued growth, customer review capability, and feature-rich options to build a mailing list and integrating social media marketing.

Purge, LLC is committed to delivering results and ensuring peace of mind with the shared goal to simplify the process of downsizing, decluttering, and organizing.

The owners, Tennille and Trina, requested an audit of the current website and asked for recommendations to improve functionality, and ease of use for the owners and potential clients. Specifically, the owners asked to highlight their community outreach, feature client before & after pictures, improve the client testimonial page, implement a request for a quote form, and integrate social media channels into the website.

Sista Naturall promotes a love of nature and metaphysics by selling self-care products for wellness and creative merchandise to promote the brand. The owner, Ulonda, is a licensed braider and offers hair braiding services in Columbia, SC.

The owner requested an e-commerce website to sell self-care products, branded merchandise, and have the ability to build a wellness community by way of email and social media marketing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Get in touch if you have a specific question or request.

My name is Brenunda Higgs. I have a little-known passion for helping people who are ready to establish their business or service on the internet.

Through the years, I have helped many people (mostly through referrals) create websites. Plan in Action is a place to communicate the services I provide for potential clients to consider.

The reward in this work is sharing knowledge, collaborating, and most of all watching my clients take ownership of their websites and have success.

First, read My Approach to understand my process for considering a new project. Next, send me a message to introduce yourself and summarize your project. I will be in contact with you within 24 hours.

On our initial telephone conversation, we’ll discuss your business, your customers, and how to best serve them with your website. This is where you can share what you want your website to look like and the functionality you want it to have.

After our initial telephone conversation, I will take that information to create a proposal based on your ideas and expectations. The proposal gives information on what you need to maintain a self-hosted website, including instructions to sign-up for a hosting account and domain registration; a project summary of your request and my recommendations; an official quote plus fees, an outline of project flow (timeline) from start to finish, project acceptance, and project questionnaire.

The price of a website depends on the complexity of design, functions and features, content, and the total time to create the website.

My websites are affordable to give new and existing business owners an opportunity to establish an online presence. With that in mind, I price between $500 and $2,000 per website on average. This price range is to give you an idea of pricing, it is not a quote. I’ll send a final quote after I have a full understanding of your request.

The average turnaround time to complete a website from start to finish is between 14 and 28 days for small projects and up to four to six weeks for medium to large projects. The timeline depends on the size (number of pages), features that require customization and/or automation, and migration of content or products from a previous site. Prompt responsiveness from the client to provide content delivery and verification will factor into the completion time of the project as well.

I work on one website project at a time. That means your website is my number one priority until it is complete to your satisfaction.

Graphic Design

I am not a graphic designer. If you need a custom-made logo or want custom graphics for your website, I recommend visiting Etsy or Fiverr to hire a talented and affordable graphic designer.

Please make sure that your logo and other graphics are available at the start of the project so there will not be any delays. Typically, the logo will drive the color palette of your website design.

Your logo/graphic design package should include the following file formats: Bitmap/Raster (JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF) and Vector (PDF, EPS, AI, SVF, CDR). Bitmap files are used for photos, graphics, small animation, etc. Vector files are for high-quality printing on items (print-on-demand).

Yes. I encourage clients to learn WordPress and get comfortable using it to make their own updates. If you can use Microsoft Word, you can use WordPress. I’ll show you how. I include basic training on WordPress in the quote.

I offer ongoing support and coaching at an hourly rate on an as-needed basis to all clients.

Monthly Website Support Plan

In response to some clients that prefer not to do updates on their own, I now offer an optional monthly support plan. I will provide details in the quote. If you already have a WordPress website and would like monthly support, please send me a message.

I hope your experience working with me will be a pleasant one and most of all professional.

My process for creating a website is informal. I believe it takes a little time and patience to create a website to get it right for the client. I am always in a state of learning while building a website. That makes the process enjoyable for me. I hope that you feel that positive energy from me during our collaboration.

What I offer my clients above all else is a personal service that I enjoy providing. I love to collaborate and share information with my clients that will benefit their website and business. I invite you to speak to any of my clients listed on this page. Some are friends, and I don’t think any of them would mind you reaching out to them.
